Who We Are
Led by father-and-daughter team Abi and Sumeya, our workshop is built on over 30 years of upholstery expertise and a shared passion for thoughtful design. Abi remains at the heart of the workshop, leading a skilled team alongside Sumeya. Since founding the business together in 2010, they have grown from a two-person operation into a team of 12 — creating pieces that feel both timeless and relevant.
With fully in-house capabilities, including upholstery, fine carpentry, and precision spray finishing, we oversee every stage of the process with exceptional attention to detail. This hands-on approach ensures consistent quality, refined craftsmanship, and complete creative control from concept to completion.
At Recoire, relationships matter as much as the pieces we create. We work closely with private clients, architects, and interior designers across the UK, US, Hong Kong, and Singapore, offering a highly personalised service tailored to each project.
