Refund & Returns Policy
At Recoire LTD, much of our furniture is made to order or bespoke. Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order, as refund and return rights differ depending on the type of product purchased.
Bespoke & Made-to-Order Furniture
Bespoke furniture is produced specifically to the Customer’s approved specifications.
- Once payment has been received, manufacturing paperwork signed, and fabric orders placed, a full refund cannot be provided.
- Any changes or cancellations must be notified in writing within 24 hours of payment and paperwork confirmation.
- Requests made outside of this timeframe will not be considered.
- Where changes or cancellations are accepted within the permitted period, any costs incurred up to that point are non-refundable.
- If the bespoke piece has entered the manufacturing process, no cancellations, returns, or refunds can be accepted under any circumstances.
In-Stock Items
Returns for in-stock items are accepted subject to the following conditions:
- The Customer must notify us of the return within 7 working days of receiving the item.
- The item must be returned to our workshop within 14 days of receipt.
- Items must be unused and in perfect condition.
- The Customer is responsible for all return delivery and postage costs.
- Refunds apply to the cost of the item only; original delivery charges are non-refundable.
- A refund will be processed only once the returned item has been received and inspected and confirmed to meet these conditions.
Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Bespoke or made-to-order furniture
- Items upholstered using Customer’s Own Material (C.O.M.)
- Items that show signs of use, misuse, or abnormal wear
- Items damaged after delivery
- Any item where manufacturing has already commenced
Availability & Supplier Changes
If, after receiving payment, a manufacturer or supplier is unable to provide materials or goods required for an order, Recoire LTD will:
- Notify the Customer and either
- Issue a full refund within seven (7) days, or Agree an alternative specification using suitable materials.
Fabric, Materials & Natural Variations
All materials and fabrics supplied meet appropriate industry standards; however, refunds or returns will not be accepted for:
- Colour variation, fading, or lack of dye fastness
- Fair wear and tear after delivery
- Differences in texture, pleating, or creasing inherent to fabric characteristics
- Minor variations in colour or design between pieces
These are considered normal characteristics of natural and upholstered materials.
Customer’s Own Material (C.O.M.)
When Customers supply their own fabrics or materials:
- The greatest care is taken; however, no liability is accepted for loss, damage, or suitability.
- Items produced using C.O.M. are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Faults & Damage
The Company accepts liability only for negligent workmanship or defective materials supplied by Recoire LTD.
- Any claim for damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery of the finished order.
- Liability for any loss or damage is limited in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
How to Request a Return or Refund
All requests must be submitted in writing and include the order reference and relevant details. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
